All Country Kitchen products are manufactured in the Avondale Foods factory on the outskirts of Lurgan at Chestnut Farm in County Armagh. Avondale Foods is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of side salads, vegetable accompaniments, soups, sauces and mayonnaise to retail and food service customers throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Avondale Foods has a team of approximately 400 employees working in its state-of-the-art facility with all Country Kitchen products manufactured on the same site.
The Avondale Foods Research and Development Department continually adapts the Country Kitchen product range to meet ever-changing consumer tastes and market trends.
The on-site engineering department and skilled production managers ensure that Country Kitchen products maintain quality and integrity right through from the development kitchen to the kitchen table; Whilst our team of horticulturists ensure that only the finest ingredients are used.
How it all began...
Avondale Foods was first established as 'S Geddis and Sons' by brothers, Harry and Derek Geddis in 1965. The company was renamed 'Avondale Foods (Craigavon) Ltd'
The Company’s Country Kitchen brand was launched in 1992. Country Kitchen is continually evolving and developing its product range, which currently consists of soups, vegetable and meal accompaniments and coleslaw.
